Turbo RX-8 and '32 Ford
A friends 300hp RX8 with Greddy turbo kit. Almost done, just needs to make it look nice and finish the tune.

Very clean install.

A little closer.

Turbo timer going in the glovebox.
Finished the audio in the back of the '32 also:

The red panels pop out to access the fuses, amps, ect.
Again, very clean.
Bit farther away.

Here is a pic of the head unit, I forget what the Mids are, I think Eclipse also. It's got four mids, four tweeters, and one low profile 12" sub behind the seat. It's around 600watts.....and the sound of the car still overpowers it under throttle.

It's going to be a full fendered car (or East Coast rod), none of that fenderless California rod crap.
The color is a custom Brandywine mix on a red base, the paint is absolutely beautiful and had a great black flop to it where it concaves, pictures don't really do it justice.

My uncle didn't want it molded in. The screws let it drop down in case anything has to be changed in the future or if he wants to remove the radio.
The engine is a 13-to-1 compression 327ci with duel quad Weber carbs, Mallory HEI, aluminum heads, fully ported and polished, ect. Puts out around 425hp and monster torque for a small block. Thats connected to a Turbo 350 trans and a Ford 9" posi rear with 4.10 gears. It should move very nicely, the car doesn't weigh much over 2,000lbs. Should have a power to weight ratio of 5 or 4 to 1. That is around the same as a Ferrari Enzo, but with more torque and a lower gear ratio.

my friend has the rx-8 in gray, ****ing love that thing. its just such a nice car. he just got the rear bumper smashed by some dickhead who drove away, but the cops never checked his ID for some reason, they just called his insurance company to pick him up. he only has a junior license, which hes lucky for, because if he was driving he would be ****ed on the insurance.

They are nice cars, I was actually looking at buying one before I found the Cobra, there was only two things I didn't like about it:
1. It was too small hight-wise, my head hit the roof.
2. It was a dog from the factory. That Greddy turbo kit makes it run like it should have.

the guy should get blue caps for his washer fluid and coolant tanks (i think thats which ones those are) and then his engine would be hot, and matching.

Not a huge fan of the RX-8.. sure they look good but performance wise, not impressed. Considering a stock RX-8 lost to my friend's GS-T by about a fender. They should have made it more like the RX-7. Turbo and stupid fast from the factory.
