I definitly wasn't trying to sell it, lol. I've only had it for 4 months now. I'm definitly keeping it for a long time. The motor only has 400 miles on it since it was rebuilt and it love it to death. I almost bought a TJ at first, but I dont like them as much as YJ's and CJ's. I test drove a few TJ's and they just didnt have that rugged, balls out feel that YJ's and especially CJ's have. I wheel it about once a month right now, hopefully more after I graduate high school. I'm going up to Drummond Island in 2 weeks, and then Badlands ORP in Indiana in about a month.

Sweet, sounds like you have some fun up ahead planned.
Man...you need to quit messin around and throw some 35"s, 401 V8, and rhino-line the interior, lol.
My next mod is a 401. This 304 is great and all, but I want bigger! I will also probably do a SOA to get some more lift.

I wish i had the money for a project jeep. It wouldn't be smart for me though. I have no where to keep it and no money to insure that and my daily driver while i'm workin on it. If I did though, I'd definatley rhinoliner the inside and out, vinyl seats, and then of course all the usual for lift and such.
Definately a nice jeep though. You locked yet?

In the rear, I have a Lock-Rite. I'm planning on putting a full locker up front though.

Good call. Lockers are great, especially if you are a mudder.

if i get another one it's gonna be a newer xj sport, or an mj with a 4.0, one of them will become my project.. maybe i'll go balls out and do a tube frame, and some rigorous sawzall work... turn it into a half buggy xj.. i'd like a 4.0 with a 5 speed though instead of a 2.5 with a 5 speed

yup...the 2.5 is not my engine of choice by far. ITts not like its any easier to work on than a 4.0 anyways.

lol, you have to change everything else out before the engine goes bad. I heard it was the same way with the 1st. gen broncos, but thats because the body rusted away to nothing.

Well, I know that my original I-6 that had over 250K miles on it ran strong and dauntless...Never had a problem with it.
Then I made the mistake by switching to an AMC 304 V8 which has given me nothing but problems, hahaha. Ok, so the main problems lie with the engine to tranny matching, but that's a different story.
Dang, you have enough vehicles there Pat?!? lol

i think hopefully if i can get mine running again (long story about electrical problems) i'm gonna go with a 3.5 inch rubicon express lift, and maybe, MAYBE some trXus mud terrain 33's.. i might trim the fenders/remove the flares also... maybe a little sawzall work.. hehehe
EDIT: what oyu think about these tires yella? http://www.quadratec.com/products/92610_30X_PG.htm
