That's a badass Jeep man. Looks hella clean.
I had a Cherokee. Was a pretty *****in car, kinda wish I still had it so I could haul friends and other **** around. Plus I felt pimpin in that thing. Of course 200k miles and 9mpg, had to sell it.

Thanks for the compliments. Correct crustybug, it is a CJ-7. You can tell because the doors are rectangle(ish) while on a CJ-5, the doors have a curved hump that goes towards the front.
Nice Cherokee HuNtS! Any future mods planned?

hunts is my brother, and the next future mod is to get it running again first, and then idk what he wants to do with it. the drivetrain cant handle much bigger tires cuz hes running the 2.5 4 cylinder in it.
The wiring is all messed up. Theres no power to the injectors, fuel pump, ignition, etc. its ****ed up really bad.
love the cj-7's tho...ive been lookin for a cheap project truck at local car shows and thats the one i want. how much did you pick it up for originally?

Crusty: I picked it up at a lemon lot for about $1500. It was all stock and original, lots of rust, and didn't run. With the help of Ebay, screamin local deals, and free stuff, I got it up and running to what you see in the last pictures for about 3K more. HOWEVER: Getting an old CJ is NOT a "Cheap" project, lol...trust me!
Pat: Yes...indeed...you are crazy. First, it is not a wrangler, it is a real Jeep, a CJ. Haha. However, I will agree that nothing is more fun than having an old beatup rusty CJ to wheel around, and with no care in the world what you do to it.

haha sorry about calling it a wrangler, i dont know much about jeeps.
yea just the image of one of those style jeeps, with all the paint chipped off cause off all the mud full of rocks slinging into the body, rusty floors cause of all the water that comes in when u go through a huge puddle full speed, idk it just makes it look badass imo.
but your finished jeep does look very clean and well-done

BigYellaJeep- That looks awesome, you have done a hell of a job restoring it. Are you gonna wheel it?

Hell, I already have jwbehm! THose pictures are a year or so old...if not older. It has quite a few paint chips, scrapes, some bent metal in the rear fenders, and lots of other dents and dings. Not to mention I'm currently rebuilding it's motor, lol.
Oh, and I like to go mudding more than anything.

I know stuck pictures suck, but its stock so thats all I've got. 3 inches of water in the passenger footwell, and I have a video with the rear left tire 1.5' off the groudn getting winched out. I plan on getting a 3" rocklizard lift and truxus 31x 11.50's

Oh...go ahead and slap some 33"s on there! Do it right the first time, otherwise it will cost you more in the long run. Trust me...you will be happy with a little 3" lift and 31"s for about a week...and then will want to go bigger.
But I give you props for wheeling it!
