Project Mustang Convertible

Now I know ive made a few car threads before, but bear with me.

I think I found a great project, 1986 FORD MUSTANG LX CONVERTIBLE TOP, and im in need of your help. Will this be a good project car/daily driver? Forget gas for now. I searched the net and found alot of upgrades for it and it looks to me like an awesome project. I want to email the guy asap about the motor, top, etc. Is there anything in partictular I should ask? Thanks for all the help.

Here it is.

eh, i would only fix it up if it was gonna be a daily driver. That car isnt old enough to be recognized as a classic or a show car. New top and tranny make it tempting. And "needs a tune-up" is a VERY shaddy statement. watch out for something like that, he's just blaming the fact it has dead cylinders on the cheapest excuse.

Yeah, thats what scares me.

Ill email him asking what exactly is wrong that he knows of and what kind of motor etc.
Its nothing to look at, so it better be good under the hood.

Are you going to want to drive an automatic 5.0? Thats the question you have to ask yourself.

jesus ur sig is retarded

80's 5.0's are gay ass cars. plus that one looks like it needs a lot of work. save up and get something nicer. dont dump money into an automatic 5.0, get a nice classic manual and build it up. just my opinion.

side note: i want a chevy 2

Check out the rust on the wheel well. That generally means that there is rust all underneath, and you are in for more than you bargained for. Find out how much that car is rusted out before you even touch it...oh and clear up the "needs tune up" statement. That can mean anything.
