Rode around in my first LS1..
OMFGGGGGGGG
If I don't trade for this LT1, I'm gonna say **** it and just save up for an LS1 and get a loan.
I can't believe I wanted to turbo the Lude.. **** THAT ****ing omfggggggggg
I pretty much skeeted my pants in the backseat. It's an auto, so he punched it to the floor and the car just slid sideways. A 6-speed LS1 was trying to race us, it sounded so ****ing sick.

If you think that's fun you should come for a ride with me. I would let you sit in the front seat too.

Psh, Poostang.
Cobras are pretty badass too. I just hate the GTs.. they aren't that impressive at all. Foxbodys and Cobras FTW.

Yea, the GT's are a little on the slow side. They should have made the new ones at least 325hp stock to keep up with the old Z28 and SS 'maros (and the need to pick up another 30 ft-lbs of torque too). The last generation two valve 4.6L GT was a real dog compared to the Maro, T/A, ect.
That's why I bought a Cobra though, more HP stock than the LT1/LS1 cars and much easier and cheaper to bring up to insane levels. It even beats the LS2 as far as being easy and cheap to mod. To get 450hp out of an LS2 with bolt ons you need a new filter, thermostat, pulleys, complete exhaust, and tune.
I get more than that with a single pulley and tune alone. Since the bottom end of my motor is all forged already I don't need a complete rebuild to get up to 700+hp either, just change a few things in the top end.
The new 5.4L Cobra is even more amazing. A pulley and tune will net 650hp from what I've heard.
Plus, I think my car looks better.

I hate convertibles, sorry bro.
I'm in love with the T-Tops. Do they even have T-Tops for Stangs? I know some of the older foxbodys had em.
But yeah Cobras are sick, I don't dog on them. Well like, the 99 Cobras around that era, aren't very impressive. But anywhere around 95,96 and around 03, I like.

I love convertibles! Much more fun to ride around in and much better in the way of headroom, even with the top on, I gain a good two inches over the hard top stang. Verts have better resale value too. Plus, it's easy to put the roof on and off, only two levers and a button. We had T-tops in the old Berlinetta Camaro. They leaked like a sieve, were a PITA to take on and off, and honestly make the car look fugly with them on or off, at least the vert looks nice with the top down.
Plus, chicks dig convertibles.

Yeah they are nice but I just prefer hardtop. I feel safer in a hardtop as well. My buddies Z28 is a convertible and it's badass just to cruise in, but I dunno why I just can't stand them. Chicks do dig them though, so that's a plus.

The thing that I love about muscle cars is the instant torque. You just don't get that with a turbo Honda or something like that. Being able to break the wheels free and slide a little sideways when you slam into second is just amazing. I also love the unrefined feel of a muscle car. Spartan interiors, slightly rough ride, heavy front end, and the sound.....they all combine to make the car feel tough and American. I've driven a few Mercedes AMG cars and a friend's Maserati, and while they are stupid fast, they just don't have same feeling.
I kind of like driving trucks and heavy equipment for the same reasons, nice and loud, unrefined, massive torque, massive size, ect.
Actually, I kind of don't like how refined American cars are getting. I've driven the new Suburban and it rides like a car, you don't even feel how fast you're going. It's kind of dangerous to be driving down the road doing 90 in a 6,000lb Suburban and not even notice you're going that fast. In the old Suburbans and trucks when you were doing 65 you felt it.

o u poor thing, any of us live near him so we can hook him up? lol
yea import guys would change there minds fast the first time u get in a muscle car. Sure it doesnt handle like a f1 car, but who cares, when u hit that gas pedal, the front end lifts about 3 inches (body not the wheels, lol) and your organs jam into your backside, neck whips, and that exhaust just sounds like pure war. And when u let off the gas, the front end drops down, and you may breathe again.
jeeze now i wanna gonna go take my chevelle for a spin in 1st gear, brb

He did a sick ass burnout on my street today. Didn't even go full throttle and didn't even try and it still left a long ass mark. I'll probably get pics tomorrow, it was badass.

i forgot how hot ur stang was dooms. i generally hate the mustange body styles from 1980-early 2000's, but urs is hot.
i too hate convertables. they look stupid unless they are hard tops IMO (they get more cash though). plus they suck if you want to race the car. hardtops/t-tops ftw!!!
