Maserati or Aston Martin
My uncle was talking to me today about cars. He was originally planning on getting a Lotus Elise, but decided against it because of its small size. He asked me what I thought about the Maserati GranSport Spyder and the Aston Martin V8 Vantage Volante. Other than the basic stats I couldn't steer him in one direction or the other. So, I'm asking PBF, if you got to pick one, which would you pick?

ive seen one of the v12 vanquishes at a british car show once, loved it. Deff the aston martin. that v12 is a HUGE engine

The DB9 is a four passenger car, he only wants a two passenger car. I told him to buy a Z06, but he said "every old guy and their brother has a Corvette or a Porsche, I want something a little different".

Now why would he want to drive some crappy chevy? 
Though he did have a '69 Camaro with a 327 in piss yellow back in the day.
Anyway, he isn't really an American car guy anymore. He had his fill (with the 'maro and a supercharged studebaker) and is now more into imported muscle. He had a TT RX7 and now he wants to try something English (like the Lotus/Aston) or Italian, he was thinking about that Bently GTC as well, but he already has his Mercedes and he doesn't want another two ton plus car. He wants something nimble like the lotus, but slightly more comfortable.
By the way, the man can drive and isn't afraid to show it. I wont ride with him in his buddies Lotus again.

does it really matter how fast a car can go, as long as its over 90 then youll be fine

i wanna say to people like that
"have either of you ever gone that fast, or ever plan on going that fast?", cuz you know they arent ever planning on going that fast, certainly not frequently enough to buy a car just because it can go 210 or w/e

Well, he deciced it will be the Aston. His Mercedes is going and either the Volente or DB9 is coming depending on which he likes more once he drives them.
