JL Audio/Need a headunit.

Alright, I just picked up a pair of Dub one v2's from Stereo West, but havent thrown them in yet. I still need to make a box. They look amazing, and they have a 4.5" mountnig depth. When your as limited on space as I am, mounting depth can be the biggest selling point of a pair of subs. I got both of them, with grills, for $240. With my amp, I expect them to hit pretty damn hard. I will be pushing about 250rms to each speaker, which is in their maximum range.

Pics up soon!!

Kenwood headunits:
Suck ass. There great when they work, but Ive had two of the 64bit color display headunits in a row, and both of them were un-working out of the box. The first was a KDC-MP 628, and the second was a KDC-MP 828.

I need sugestions on a new headunit, ~$250. It HAS to have a color display.

There, a rant, and rave all in one thread. I want suggestions, comments, anything thats good input.

Can't go wrong with the new Alpines, and Nakamichi has outstanding sound quality and long life.

I ended up back w/ a kenwood. Its the KDC-x782.

Has color screen, g-analyzer, all that other **** I dont use. Retails at $420, but I picked her up for $225 (traded for teh broken one) thanks to the lack of bestbuy other kenwood headunits.

Ehh, I already had the harness in, and I like their color displays the best by far.

Nissian-THey diddent have anythiing else to exchange it for, so I got to option up to that one, w/ no extra cost.
