"Oh, to ride inside the car that blisters eyeballs when gazed upon.... Bugatti's Veyron keeps on pushing the limits of performance—as if its very production was not testament enough. Great Britain's Autocar magazine recently tested a wide roster of performance cars as part of its annual 0-100-0 showdown. What won? You guessed it—the Veyron. Weighing in at 4100 pounds, the monster Bugatti recorded a 0 to 60 mph of 2.8 seconds, a 0 to 100 mph of 5.5 seconds, and managed to screech to a halt at 9.9 seconds! These statistics, at first glance, seem impossible for such a heavy car to achieve, but somehow, it is. What's even more incredible is that sportbikes are allowed in the same competition class as supercars. Who took 2nd place? Suzuki and their GSXR-1000. That's right, folks, a car outran and stopped faster than a 2-wheeler. Keep reading to see more pictures of the Veyron in action."
Very interesting stuff.
