Oh, and the Stingray moniker is returning to GM Corvettes. The 600+hp supercharged 427 Z06 (code named The Blue Devil) is ready for production, but GM isn't sure how exactly to make it safe enough to drive. They think the people that buy it will kill themselves trying to drive it. Just think, for $100,000 you can keep up with an Enzo (and have more torque).

Since they opened the new tundra plant in san antonio, the tundra is getting a complete makeover. It will actually be a full size truck. I dont know allthe details but from what ive heard a diesel and dually version will be available.

Yea, Toyota, Nissan, and Honda want to get into the large diesel truck market since it's the only thing left to try and take over.

well chevy is in a pretty deep hole, they kinda missed the memo that dodge got, that retro styling is selling cars. hemi, charger, challenger, all good ideas that sell. Ford did it with the mustang. GM's just not on the ball lately, and they cant afford to get with the program.
If the made a LS2 chevelle with 1970 body influence, for $25,000, it would sell big time. If they made that camaro, it would sell big time. But they probably never will

Idk man, they are doing more and more road testing with it...few vids are up at www.camaroz28.com. Small things, I know, but the idea hasn't died.

Bob Lutz said " If we don't build the camaro we're stupid." They definitely want to build it, it's just of matter of figuring out if they can make money off it. The true money makers are the V6 cars, and they need to sell at least 10,000 a year to keep the camaro feasible. If they think the market can take it then they will make it.
All the magazines are saying expect a lot of new GM cars and a lot of changes in the next two years or so. They want to bring out a lot of RWD and AWD cars, only time will tell if they decide to do it or not.

if they can make a basic v6 camaro with no fancy options for $17,000 it will out-sell the charger and mustnag easily. Everybody and their grandmother has a mustang these days, and the charger is everywhere too. When the new v6 camaro pops up, it will sell to women and elderly very fast.
are they planning on making the ls7 an option?

Not right away, maybe in the second or third year of production. They don't want to hurt any Corvette Z06 sales, since that is such a niche car.
