That's what I thought, it sounds like it has a leak.
I still think the 32 sounds the best of any chevy engine I've heard.

nah mine with open headers sound like an orgasm, 10.25:1 compression with the cfm of a big block just sounds so badass with open headers
and does that '32 need 110 octane? on my dads racecar we tried 105octane with 13:1 and it didnt work out, but then again we were doing 40degrees advance and 8000rpms

He runs 110 normally, but he can also run it on pump premium (93 octane) if he isn't beating on it. It's high compression, but the timing doesn't have an insane advance.

Na, my valves would float at 6k. I was trying to keep it in the margin of 4000 to 5000, but its hard to tell with a tach that doesnt work, lol.

Hey, don't be hating that your 30 year old big block rust bucket can't keep up with a little convertible chick car.

Bah, With the upper pulley changed I'm 550hp along with 4.10 gears, and 3800lbs (sans driver).
Anyway, I would one day love to race it at E-town, but they wont even let it run. Convertibles that run under 13.0 (I think?) need to have a cage, and I'm not putting one in.
Anyway (again), After the '32 is done I have a '73 Lincoln Mark with a 460 big block sitting in the garage that I'm going to fix up. It belongs to my uncle, but I might buy it from him. The darn thing weighs 5,000lbs, but if I drop in the Ford stroker 520 crate motor like we were planning it should move pretty well. I'm thinking of doing headers on the stock exaust with remote release cut outs. That way it looks and sounds like a normal old fart lincoln, until I open the headers to release the pure sound of a 520ci big block. I don't think I'd race it, but I would have plenty of fun scaring people

yea with that weight you'll need alot of stroke to make the torque needed
is that "Failure Of Research & Development" (FORD) forced induction or n/a?

Dude they are so high flowing you wouldnt even beleive. The air actually makes it's way INTO the corrugation, which causes a ram air effect that acts like a supercharger. It's going to be awesome.

N/A 520ci making 625hp/600 ft-lbs of torque at 9.8-1 compression. Plus it's a direct drop in for the motor that is already in there. All I would need is some work done to the C6 trans. If I really wanted to go nuts I could up the compression or strap a blower on it, but it comes with a warrenty which is nice to have and 625hp with the posi rear should be plenty to start with.
