Gas stations that don't use Ethanol?
Anyone have a list? I'm trying to find non-Ethanol mixed fuel for use if my two stroke engines and collector cars since Ethanol mix doesn't last as long as straight MTBE gas and it tends to screw up older engines.

I think they have to advertise that they do.
In SC, there are two different pumps, one for regular gas and one for ethanol. Is that not how it is everywhere?

Remember, there are two types of Ethanol mixtures.
E85 which is the stuff you get from the yellow pump. That is 15% gas and 85% Ethanol. That isn't what I'm talking about.
E10 is normal gas (reg/midgrade/premium) that instead of having MTBE, has 10% Ethanol mixed as it's oxidizer. Most people don't even notice it (especially in NJ since you don't pump your own gas), but if you look on the pump they usually have a sticker that says "This gas contains 10% Ethanol" or it will have the letters "MTBE" with a line through it.
Ethanol is no good for older engines and two-stroke engines. It kills plastic, clogs carburetors, absorbs water more easily than MTBE gas, and it only has a shelf life of 90 days at best (where the old gas could sit for up to six months). Honestly, this environmental BS is starting to piss me off.

(yay i finally get to use a fanct word i learned in chem when i was a junior in high school)
yea polar molecules arent exactly good for a fuel system. They dont lubricate and cause most of the system thats made of rubber to dry out and become hard as a rock.
But, i still havent seen any notifications around here that our gas has changed at all.

Next time you go to the gas station start looking around on the pump for a little sticker that mentions 10% Ethanol or no MTBE used. Usually it's pretty hidden, only BP seems to advertise it openly.

maybe its cause i never go to places like exxon, shell, gulf, getty, hess, or any of those. I only go to "mom & pop" type places that are run by a family, or have all high school kids running it.
I noticed the sterotypical foreign gas station guys dont have a problem with splashing gas on my paint. And they make up 98% of the staff at big chain gas stations
