Identify this hitch...
Well im making a trip to Missouri to pick up a mercedes we left when we moved a few years ago. I need to find the hitch for my Reese tow package. Its a different style I havnt seen before. Its raining so heres a paint pic for you all.
I SCREWED UP ON THE PIC, think of the plug being flipped, the corners are cut on the bottoms.

i looked under the cover and saw a sticker that said Shadow Mount 2...  They are like $60 ****ing dollars! Anyone know any places I can get one cheaper?

hah thats what my mom said. it needs work but is in good shape. mom just bought a house with a 3 car garage with lift and huge air conpressor (forgot the size). ill probably fix it up and sell it.

i install trailer hitches as part of my job, and ive never seen anything like that. But i never use reese hitches, just draw-tite
i know k-mart has some hitch stuff, and so do all the auto-zone/pepboys/etc kind of places.

Yeah I checked autozone, advanced auto, napa said they could order it but thats like a waste of an extra $20 seeing as i can do that myself. What class hitch do you think id need to haul the mercedes? Class 2? Heres the site im looking at, see Flatbar > Shadow Mount. I need to measure the reciever on the hitch itself when the rain stops. lol.

find a place that sells trailers near you and take you vehicle up there they can tell you what you need and where to get it and alot of times the have better prices than walmart,pepboys,autozone, etc

Okay im pissed. I email Reese up, heres my original email:
Hello, I have a Reese Shadow
Mount 2 hitch on my Isuzu
Rodeo, and need the hitch
reciever/ball mount. I believe
its the 3/4" by 2 1/2" flat
bar. I looked online and found
nothing, so i figured id come
to the manufacturer. Thanks,

Great.... What options does that leave me with? Buying a whole new hitch?
So im officially pissed now, and need a new hitch for my Rodeo. It sucks because the trip will cost about $400 just for gas and rental tow dolly, now I need a new hitch... Whats the best hitch, bolt on, in lets say class 2, for the money? Anyone?

its around 1200 miles, i dont know if i want to deal with the possibilitys of something going wrong. I could use a hitch though anyway.
