ok. i know your not serious, but nobody talks **** about bowtie engineering and gets away with it

i strongly suggest most of you guys dont even bother reading this, same old same old
::takes deep breath:: ::clears throat::
ok well for starters lets look at the specs
gto:
4000lbs
400hp
17/25 mpg
ok, now the GCSRT8 thing
4400lbs
420hp
12/15 mpg
well, logically it should be a even race. which is was. It was neck and neck. When it comes down to a race like this, it usually comes down to who's the better driver, in which case we have no idea if the driver of the gto knew how to shift on a 1/4 mile. Basically this race should of been a tie, which it basically was. The winner was decided upon "foreign elements" (also like to add the suv probably had more then a 3.73 ratio in the rear)
ok, now, shame on you dooms. comparing a 400hp 17/25mpg engine to a 420 12/15mpg engine. Two completely different engines. Chevrolet (the best engineers in america since the 50's

) can make a decent amount of power and still get decent gas mileage. With precision engineering, they can find how to make power with not sacrificing fuel economy. When on the other hand, chrysler relies on simple methods to make power which is in no way fuel efficient. Viper--->500hp and averages 14 mpg ; corvette ----> 500hp averages 22 mpg.
in conclusion, dont compare these 2 cars, never mention the over-rated word "hemi" in the same sentence as "chevy", and never talk down to chevy's performance engineering, and we wont have a problem
