well i may be selling the blazer pretty soon i had a guy offer me 4000 for as it sits system and all its tempting because i found a 94 silverado 4x4 V8 ext cab for 3500 that would be pretty nice to have but idk that would be wierd driving around with out a sound system

so what do you guys think go for the silverado and just start workin on a new system or keep the blazer and continue workin and fixin it up

more power
better offroad capabilities
newer, less miles (i think?)

i know i would hate to see my stereo go but i can always build a bigger badder one


and yeah it would definitely have better off roading capabilities which is kinda what i have been looking for and i hope it has less miles than my blazer which has 230,000 on it

so yeah im still thinking debating the main thing that is holding me back is gas mileage and the stereo deal

I get 13miles to the gallon in my truck, which is a 92 chevy 1500(scottsdale i beleive, to lazy to look), with a 4.3l. Its not really that bad. I have a 38 gallon tank, and it costs me around a $50 to fill it up from half a tank(thats as low as i let it get), and its not really that bad. I get about 250 miles for a half tank, and i only fill up once every other week or so. I know your truck will get better mileage, So i'd say go for it.

Figure your blazer is good for another 70k. The amount of money you'll get for it then will be nothing compared to what you can get for it right now.

well i decided to go for it because i told the guy i really wanted to get 4000 for it and he said no problem i am just waiting on the email back from him now

so if i can get the silverado for 3000 that will leave my 1000 left over after registration and **** i will have about 700-800 and that will be enough to get me started on a new stereo or pick up a lift kit
