1337 might be getting a new car..

Got offered a 95' LS Integra with a GSR swap. GSR is a b18c which makes 170hp stock. My car does 135hp stock and is non-vtec. Also the teggy has exhuast and a new paintjob. NSX Silver.

He wants to trade. I asked if anything was seriously wrong with the car, and that I would want to keep my wheels, headunit, subs and amp.

They are pretty quick, so I'm excited. If I do end up getting it, I will just put my turbo on it and get a good tune for 8psi DD. Then if I get bored, I'll build the motor to handle like 20psi and get all new parts and make this thing an 11 second car. I doubt I would do that though. With 8psi DDing I could run low-13s and run stock axles and possibly stock clutch.

I'm pretty excited and I hope it goes through. I will probably be test driving it this weekend, but right now the roads are getting pretty damn icy.

its more fun to wrench on yours to make it better than to buy a moderatly faser one. but do what you please. you had a big turbo project all lined up too no?

Correct. All I have though is the turbo and blow off valve. So it's not like I would have to start over.

I've always wanted a Teggy.. but I couldn't afford one. So I see this as a good oppurtunity.

Yeah it is fun working on everything yourself. I've done everything on my prelude myself. Exhuast, body work, interior work, etc.

But I'm getting bored.. and its soooooooo slow. Also it's starting to experiance mild problems. The way I look at it, the GSR will satisfy my goals much easier and efficient. It also gets way better gas mileage. I get like 17 or 18 in the Prelude. Also has VTEC.. I could go on and on.

Really the only thing I would miss is my Prelude's great handling. If I did some decent suspension work though, I could get the Teg to handle pretty well.

Yeah I'll be sure to. As long as everything is fit fine, electically fit, and it drives fine, then it's cool with me. If I run into engine problems later on I'll just do a rebuild.

Swap and paint was done by himself.

As long as everything checks out fine I'm going for it. If I do get it this weekend, I'll try and get pictures asap.

I want one of these

That one is an 05, one of the very few 04-05 blue wagons I've been able to find. And it only has 20k miles and is only $18k. And insurance is actually a lil cheaper than my Integra, despite the 90hp increase

They look good on the car.
