The Dynopack AWD/RWD/FWD dyno!
My buddy Rob just got it in a week ago. I was learning how to run it this weekend using it on a black WRX. It's pretty awesome, we got in a bunch of pulls and messed around with a little tuning (though I don't know enough to tune since I didn't go to the training course). It's also extremely accurate. The only problem though is the numbers it gives are about 3-10% lower than a dynojet since there is less rotating mass (it's actually more accurate than a dynojet though), the problem is, people who have run their car on a dynojet before think this dyno is busted since the numbers are generally lower. We have to factor in an extra 5% or people start getting pissed.
By the way, that blue STi put down some nice numbers. I won't say the HP, but it did put down over 400ft-lbs of torque. The black WRX on the other hand is using a Cobb basemap and didn't put down anywhere near what Cobb said it should. It was about 25hp less (still well over stock though), however that should pick up a lot when we it gets a full tune and a few extra PSI.
I'm hoping in a few weeks he'll get the Diablosport software and we can give my stang a complete tune instead of the canned SLP tune. I actually wanted to hook the Envoy up today, but he doesn't have a six-lug adapter yet, only four and five.
