How in the hell do you get the rear speaker grills off without stripping all the screws? (2002 Mazda 626 EX)

get a chilton manual for it, that will tell you how to do it. What kind of screws are on em?

No clue, I can't see the heads of the screws. They're sandwiched between the particle board rear deck and the sheet metal in the top of the trunk. They go up through the grill. I think my solution is to remove the rear deck, but that's a huge problem in itself.

Well no doubt its going to be a pain in the ass, but my suggestion would be get a Chilton manual for it. That will give you step by step instructions on how to remove em. Should run you about $15-$20 for the manual.
