I'm a beast

I pulled a 14.6 out of a stock 5.0!

Wooohoo!

R/T... .301
60'... 2.401
1/4... 14.69
MPH... 95.00

I was pretty impressed. It's pretty hard to even break 14's with a stock 5.0 stang. Also mine has 171,000 miles on it. All the other 5.0 owners kept looking in my engine bay for intake or heads.

Twas my first time at the track. All in all, had a pretty good time. My friend with the 96' Cobra ran a 13.88 so that was a pretty good run for him as well.

I got 5 total passes in.. all consistant 14.7s and 14.8s. I never burned out and only powershifted one run. If I was pushing my car to it's full, I probably could have pulled a mid-14. Only reason is I don't want to risk it because I'm selling it. But yeah anyways, good times.

171K on the clock?! DAMN! Not a run i would expect from a 5.0 of that age. Most of them sound pretty ragged out and tired these days if a gearhead hasn't gotten hold of it.

great pass!

A kid with a stock 5.0L just had it dynoed at my buddies shop. 155,000 miles on it and it still put down 210rwhp. That's around 235 crank hp. Not bad for a car that was rated at 225.

By the way, he runs a 100 shot of nitrous on it. He didn't have any left in the bottle, so he couldn't run it on the dyno. But I think he said he was running low 13's with it all day long.
