Red and blue neons underneath your car are only illegal if they are visible from the front.
Thats how it is in FL anywyas. Just put two switches, One for the front and one for the sides and back.
Then if you see a cop or they say anything you can just switch off the front one.

I have the street glow LED's under my car... very easy to install and super easy to change colors and modes.

Even though I always keep mine on blue not much else goes with a blue car except for white and I bought mine used and the white on mine is sort of ****ed up... I just need to re sauder some wires but I'm too lazy to worry about something I really dont give a **** about haha.

I had a red neon tube on my tercel and drove playing with it quite often. I asked quite a few cops and here is what they told me.
IN MISSISSIPPI

red and blue neon under glow is legal as long as the bulbs aren't visible. If it's just the underglow, it's legal. As far as interior lights, if they can't see the bulb easily, they wont say anything. I had 3 neon tubes, and a strobe light above the driver and passenger floorboard. It looked sick as hell. Cops never said a word, and I could cut if off using a switch mounted right by my seat.

^^ word i dunno whats goin on yet i want to bag it and i want to put mud tires on it if i do that i'll either **** them up when i drop my truck with the bags or i'll **** them up when i bottom out in a mudhole
