been lookin all over the net and google and can't find anything about neon lights in NC. My friend gave me the things you put on your tires that flash blue. I was wondering if i could use these. I know you can't have blue neons under the car so i was just wondering, or if anyone has a site that would be great

Usually the color blue is reserved for emergency vehicles only..

EDIT: And by the way, why would you want light up tire valve caps? Got rice?

Oh yeah.. red and blue lights are illegal to drive with because of emergency vehicle colors.

Red, yellow, and green illegal to traffic lights, and other colors are used for military and others.

Honestly your only legal options are pink, and purple. No dodgy.

np dude. Hell i even had a set of blue underbody neons on my blazer for a lil bit lol (got em for free). I ended up pullin off em off after a couple weeks and installing them in a friends trunk behind his subs.

Yeah mine was extra ghetto as well cause only the side bulbs worked

My friend's explorer is pretty ballin. Has underglows, 23's, 4 12's in the back power by 2 amps and 2 caps, and then a flip out tv headunit. It's fun to ride around with him while I'm drinking because I'm always entertained. He'll go somewhere and if I don't want to go I'll just sit in the car lol.

I'm pretty sure (check with your local authorities) that red is reserved for fire and EMS vehicles. I know here blue is reserved for the state troopers.

Now if for some reason I decide to ever put underbody lights on again I would get one of those multi color led kits. They can change to all kinds of different colors and the LED kits are a lot more durable than the neon bulb kits.
