Anyone know about tires?
So my dad told me since Dhristmas just went by and i didnt get much and that my bday is coming up he'd get me wheels and tires for Christmas/bday (about damn time...was supposed to get like a year ago)
Here goes my question. I figured i'd go P205/75r15 but the tires i want dont come in that size the smallest is 215/75r15.
Was wondering how much bigger those would be? I am a tire noob so yea.
Also i am probably going with these wheels. Not sure if ima do black or polished yet
DC-1 - Black
Since i can't get those ^^
Gonna edit some more in as i find em
Mickey Thompson Classic II Wheel

they'll be going on this
I think the blacks with bf goodrich all terrains will look clean on it once i tint the windows.(for some reason i think tinted windows makes rims/wheels stand out better. Also if i clean it up and keep it clean)

What are the tires you are looking at? The tires will have a listed minimum and maximum rim width.
With that said, 215 sounds too narrow for those 8" and 10" wide rims. I've got a 9" wide rims on the Cobra and they use 265's.

BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A 235/75SR15 are made for a 6"-7" rim. They might fit on an 8" wide rim, but they'll be stretched out of spec. I would go a bit wider on the tire if you can or a bit narrower on the wheel.

hmmm. I don't know how much wider i could go and i don't like it when tires are very narrow looking. You think they would run fine on the 8" wide or should i not even take the chance?

Those tires would actually be pretty much the perfect size for the 8" wide rim he's looking at.
Edit: Do they rub at all on there with the stock height? The Rodeo and the Blazer are pretty much the same trucks, so if they work on one they should work on the other just fine.

Yea, looking for new tires and wheels is a PITA. There are a lot of variables you have to make sure are right or you can really get screwed over.
Edit: Here is a calculator for measuring 5 lug spacing:
Skulte Performance Designs Bolt Circle Calculator
Here's another website that tells you what else to check:

no rubbing. sitting next to my friends blazer though looks like the front would defiantly rub.
