Ive seen cars like that running around. One person back in my home town did it to a van.
I gotta say i'm not a fan of it at all. Do it to a truck or jeep or dont' do it at all.

I'd rock it, but only off-road. It would be awesome to try and hang with 4x4 trucks in a rwd car.

I see hubs and a front diff. People drop bodies onto older blazer frames and such here. Not impressed, and not my style. If I saw it out on the rocks at the quary or playing in the river around here I'd probably leave it for dead.
