I don't find joy in that. It all seems like a joke untill you see someone go down for real. I remember watching some of those crashes on speed channel and its just sick to think that alot of people doing that stuff are dead.

yea you gotta give props to the guys though. I remeber when roger hayden who Im pretty sure that reck with the green kawasaki number 4 which was haydens number for a while before he swaped to like some 90 number 95 or 96 but he wrecks there and hes bike rolls once more and blows. I remember sitting there watching that race and thinking oh snap cause he could have rolled with the bike rather than away from it. also there was the motogp race it shows where the guy is thrown up to the wall and another falls behind him and his bike goes maybe a foot above his head. you see that crap in the races of any kind and think how there isn't more deaths in the sport. Alot of them you gotta just sit and think that when you jump in your seat watching they could be dead no because of it. the one where the bike ramps the dude after he falls yea thats an easy broken back. having 500 pounds go over you with a rear wheel putting out 180 horse isn't fun.
ouch doesn't cut it for the guys who go down on the bike. Nate never got a chance to feel remorse for loving to ride large. when he died he wasn't doing anything wrong but I had seen him bullet past me doing in the high hundreds. A chunk a **** in the road doing 160 will throw you easy. let alone a dear like the dude at the end hits....its just not something to laugh about. Ive never downed a bike. I hope I never do. Ive seen guys throwing half mile wheelies and quick stoppies but you better know what the hell your doing if you ever think that everyone who sits on a bike does this ****.

I will never be out of business here... We build Harleys in Tomahawk (well at least all the plastic and fiberglass parts) and in September we have like 30,000 bikers in town for the weekend to celebrate everything Harley. Its nuts! One year we had about 50 wrecks and 5 deaths in 48 hours and I thin kI got like maybe 5 hours a total sleep that weekend. It nuts.. Its like the sturgis rally, just smaller.
Those vids make my skin crawl. At least most of those folks were wearing good protective gear. The guy at the end though that was used as a ramp... that made my stomach feel kinda funny...

he was slowing down. thats speed wobble. you can't stop it easily when it happens. You can't just slam the brakes or it will make you face plant when the wheel locks down when its on its edge. If you don't ride it out while off the gas you fall if you fall the bike does a couple of flips maybe on top of you then stops too. You gotta ride it out. I have had some small wobble and you can't trust instinct. If you slam on the front or hand break it will catch the wheel on its side and throw you over the handlebars.

Nick's right. You gotta ride it out and go with the flow.
Worst case secnario, end up with a few broken bones and some serious road rash. If you use the brakes, you'll probably consider some brain damage.

eh you dont get it
in that case you need to ease on to the brakes itl slow the wobble and i mean ease on to the brakes and you wanna use the hande brake only of course

did you watch his feet. I don't remember that race just because Ive seen so damn many. Went back and watched again. he was ready for the bail right away wanted to kick off or do a quick jab down with his leg to hopefully keep the bike up. In a race you don't just nail the brakes when you woble. All real racers get it some time or another and you either push through it or loose your sponsors because you ride like a pansy. I would never suggest doing that in a real situation but in a race like that when kawasakis payin to keep a pile of bikes working for you then you can let them all down by not racing.
