There isn't going to be a 2005 lightning. The SVT team shut down until 2006/2007. The 2005 pictured is actuelly the 2004 Concept. It won't be produced until later, it might not even be made as such.

I own an SVT product (2003 Mustang Cobra), so I am a member of the owners club (SVTOA). I get e-mails from them and the SVT every once in a while saying, basically, what is going on. I remember reading it in one of the e-mails. However, you should be able to find something about it on the net.

I try, I have a lot of family members that are big into cars, trucks, and heavy equipment so it is one of those things I kinda grew up with. It seems to run in my family, my father was the best in his class in auto body and auto shop and my uncles built go-carts (one of which was a twin motor cart that would do about 70mph, even I'm not sure how that one worked) and ran heavy equipment on the jobsite since they were kids. (In fact my father got me running machines at age 10). When I started showing interest my dad and uncles would take me to car shows all over, I even found out I had a weekly car show two blocks from my house. Now that I have a Mustang Cobra, forget it, I'm a complete car nut.

I like the look of the Dodge SRT-10. I used to like the SVT Lightnings, but it seems like all the mexicans who deal drugs around here get a Lightning, then drop it, and make it look like ****. Kind of made me dislike the truck a little bit.

Same around where my grandpa lives in Florida, West Palm Beach, all the mexies have them, and make them look like crap.

I know the Silverado isn't as fast, but I'm a Chevy guy, and I think it looks the best.

ooooooooooooookkkkk then
1st yes there will be no 2005 svt lightning infact, there will be no 2004 SVTs for ford you can expect the mustang to be 2005 or 2006 im not sure and as far as i know neither is ford(correct me if im wrong) the lightning will be back 2006
2nd the dodge is a sweet truck just because it has the viper engine....but its really not worth it. The track time for the ford and the dodge are very close. This is becasue the dodge weighs a hell of alot more with those extra to cylinders, and are those extra 2 cylinders really worth another 10,000 bucks...na. Also i dont know if you noticed that rediculous spoiler on the dodge.
3 well right now i think chevy has the ugliest trucks on the market and man was i sad when i found out joe gibbs was a chevy man. And the performance on the chevy can not compete with the other 2 at all
