Srt4 Vs. Gsx-r 600

well about 3 months ago I got a 2004 dodge srt4. Ive gotton a K&N cai, full borla exhaust, mopar Blow off valve, turbo timer and boost controller, and a short throw shifter. Yesterday my brother got a brand spankin new suzuki gsx-r 600 street bike, and we had to race. he won, but my 4 banger held its own at 18 psi. it was fun, il get some pics

It sounds like your little 4-banger needs some help in the HP department.

Get a turbo charger along with 200hp shot of nos. Then you blow him off the bike. And get a power programer or standalone ecu.......Or ignore me.

Yeah I can have him pretty soon, im getting nitrous( not too big prolly 100 shot), full msd igniton and a bigger intercooler sept. 19th and we will have another go at it. I think Ill take him. my car runs 12.50's at 18 psi right now. and I think those 600's run like high 11's so with some nitrous I can prolly take him on the street

I doubt you are running 12.50s. That is a 1 1/2 second increase over a stock quarter mile time with intake, exhaust and a boost controler plus 18 psi. Im gonna throw the BS flag here.

Im ganna thro the BS flag to. Ok first off the srt4 is an awesome car...but for it to beat that bike...well no...he would blow ur pants of...the only way u would have kept up with him the slightest bit would be if u did like a clutch drop and if he cant drive for ****. As for you car pullin 12s....well i dont think so at the most mid 13s.

think about it man a car vs a 300 pound crotch rocket

DUH

Uhmm...don't. Seriously.

R1 would maybe be acceptable. Don't even get a busa. Insurance will be mad high, price tag is at least 8 grand even for a used one, turning sucks, uncommfy, long as hell, and you will kill yourself on it.

R1 is a lot easier to ride. But I would recomend a R6. Same thing pretty much. But a GSX-R 600 is the fastest 600cc bike you can get. R6 is next in line and then the CBR. Pretty sure.

Don't push it over 750cc or you'll be a DEAD man.

Words of wisdom. I'm thinking myself with going with a GSXR 600.

ok first yes the busa is a big bike but..it IS the most comfy bike that ive been on and i basicly live inthe bike dealership near my house
2nd if your getin a busa your obviously not roadracin it, theres a reason its long and heavy...its for drag
it beats the pants off any stock bike out there
The R1 is far better than the R6
the R1 has way more power and just as good handling as R6

both the R1 and and the busa are around 10 grand now 10 grand is extremely good price for both bikes

and yes the GSX-R is a nice bike but i plan on actually draging and both the R1 and the busa have more potential

and btw does anyone know wut bike will was riding in I-ROBOT
i never got a good look

and btw i could easily kill myself on a 600 cc bike

If you actually get a Liter Bike... I would recomend a GSX-R 1000, R1, or one of my personal favorites... The Honda 1000RR. The exhuast under the seat is simply amazing!
