i got to ride one today. 1st impression wow this is wierd. i was told not to try and balance my self, i did. it was so easy to control lean forward you go forward, backward is backwords. you twist a little grip to turn. it was really fun to ride on to bad its $4500.

And you im not sure why you would get one vs. an electric scooter. Scooters are cheaper, and who wants to stand up??? If your lazy enuff to need one of these, why would you be standing!!

Ya segways r fricken awesome, except for the fact that they cost an arm and a leg. I will stick with my gas scooter.

idk i thought i was going pretty fast but i was going down an ile of $85,000 choppers so it mmay have been fast to me. also you wouldn't think they would sell segway's at a chopper shop.lol

i was in atlantic city today with my family at a boat show, and they had segways for RENTAL so u can go on the boardwalk and piers. 45 bucks an hour. i almost wanted to do it.
