get a freak and shoot it(has wholes in the barrel) and then shoot a pipe kit which has i think only a couple or no wholes in it and then compare.
Th freak is not really loud or very quiet, when you shoot the pipe kit you might want to put ear plugs on

The pipe kit has many a hole (BTW, it's called porting), it's just their drilled on an angle so they increase noise instead of decreasing it.

They are purely for noise reduction, though SP claims the spiral porting adds a spin to the ball, it's pretty much impossible to do that with such a short area of effect.

umm... no. you are really really messed up if you think that. CO2 comes out cold and therefor couldnt melt the barrel. and hpa would never get hot enough. if you were being sarcastic then ha ha ha!

No the c02 is so cold that its hot. EVERYONE knows that!
