Barrel conditioner?

I recently bought a 14inch J&J ceramic barrel, which worked fine out of the box. But one day a friend said I should condition it with Rain-x to make it perform even better. I haven't tried it yet, but does it work? Or does something else work better?

I wouldnt, they work fine out of the box and I done see how this could really help anything. Rain-x coul damage it too, I would just not.

The only thing Rain-X will do is help it shoot better through breaks. Rain-X probably will decrease your overall accuracy though.
