J&J ceramic or S2

I just purchased a J&J Ceramic 14" barrel and received the 14" S2 barrel instead. Do the barrels perform the same, or should I return it for the one I purchased?

The S2 barrel is also manufactured by J&J. It is supposed to look like a two piece barrel. I don't know anything about its perfomance, but I do know that it is a little more expensive.

I have the s2 and the reg one. The difference i found is they just look different, but perform the same. That's my experience though, it might work differently for you.

yes, it is. It's just a newer version of the ceramic (you could think of it like S1 )

Have both, only difference I've noticed is a slight change in the porting design for the S2 and also it looks like a two-piece barrel instead of the old Ceramic style which looks like a stick.

I installed the S2. Even with cheap paint it kicks the stock barrel's a**. I am anxious to see what it will do with some quality paint. Thanks for the help!
