End Game Compression Barrel
First off Im new to the site. I've been playing paintball since I was 16. I have a tippmann A5 with a few mods. Im in the market for a new barrel and wanted to know if the End Game Compression Barrel is worth investing in. I have a friend who has one and we both love the accuracy of it. Every time I try to buy one online they are sold out. Is there another barrel that is as good or better than the end game? Thanks

I have never heard of it before but depending on your price range there is the PPS brass, which is the worlds quietest barrel and is also very accurate, but is a bit heavy. Or the Orbium series which are roughly 180$ for the whole kit but are probably the most accurate kit out as of right now.

no barrel I know of costs over $125..and those are ridiclously overpriced.
Look at a deadlywind fibur barrel. they're the best bang for your buck. The redz barrel kit is alsoo quite impressive.

The DW barrel is like 100 shipped. With 2 inserts it is 124 I think. Full kit is around 160.
But yea, IMO it is the best especially if you already have the inserts.

AHHHH NOOOO!!! not another!
let me drill this into your head before you go spend a butt load of money on "sniper gear"
there is NO such thing as sniping in paintball, it doesnt happen, nada, none, cant be done, not the way you are thinking anyway, the ONLY way that the term sniping CAN POSSIBLY apply to paintball is this, snipers are great at staying concealed and hidden, thats IT! the guy who is out there with a 98 custom and the guy with the $300 "sniper" set up will have the same exact range since the paintballs are leaving their barrels at the same velocity (nobody bring up the flatline, its a joke and a waste of money) they will go the same distance, accurace, there are better barrels out there but you can NOT get the faimed "one shot one kill" it doesnt happen (stock class, maybe but thats another subject)
basically what im saying is theres no such thing as sniping and the companys that create this "sniper" gear know that, but theres tons of new players out there that think they are gunna dominate the field if they can pick everyone off from long range so they go buy the gear then find out that it doesnt help any, if it did work im sure there would be a form on this web site dedicated to the "snipers"
so sorry if i ruined your hopes and dreams but im just trying to save you a big head ache and a lot of money

The way I play there is a sniper. I'm sorry I didnt mention I do mil sim games as well. I almost have a whole "town" compleat. My parents are sitting on alot of land and I asked if I could use a few acres for a field. they said yes so my buddies and I went nuts. Now to the sad part. the winter up here was bad and I had a huge tree fall and take out 2 bulidings. We are rebuliding but it will take a wile.

explain how you play a sniper. If it's siting far back shooting at people, it's a joke. If it's hitting targets at 100 yards with one shot it's a lie.

I have saw a guy do that from 70 yards with an old school trix. Of course it was fine tuned, very fine tuned, and a crap load of money into it. Plus he shot it every day and was completely obsessed with paintball.
But this is also a guy who would shoot a paintball up in the air and try to hit himself.

thats nice that you got all that land, do what you want to the a-5 im just gunna strongly sugest you stay away from anything that marked as "sniper" longer barrels do nothing more than waste air. just FYI though, the a-5 is not the best marker to try for better accuracy, something with a closed bolt is best (imo)
o and that guy with the 70yd shot, lucky shot, id bet a lot that he couldnt do it repeadidly

I agree with you on the long "sniper" barrel. the max I would go is 16 inches and thats pushing it. I just want an barrel that has good accuracy. As for playing a sniper we put the sniper in windows, on top of roofs, a hunting stand. the sniper is used more or less get the drop on someone not pick someone off from 100 yards. If I wanted to do that I'd get a real .50 cal. JK. Wow is this a touchy subject.

ya....about that....ok, i see your termanology then, that is a much better use for the term, its not so much concieled as it is protected. well its arguable which barrel is best above about $70, iv seen some people saying kits dont do anything for accuacy, but nobody will argue the eficiancy aspect of them, i do love my dw fibur though, i just about threw it out the car window when i took it out of the mailing box becasue its so light. my UltraLight that came with the dm6 is very VERY quiet and does a pretty good job of shoting through breaks, look into the dw fibur if price isnt an issue, remember you need the freak inserts with it though.

it's a touchy subject because most people don't understand that it's not possible. Now that i see where you're headed with it I'm ine with it.
any high end barrel kit should work for you.
Redz, J&J ceramics, DW fibur, etc etc..
