wash the barrel out with water, dry it. Then put the goo on and get it all around the barrel with a squeegee. And if theres any dirt left just wash it out and dry it again.

IMO All-Stars are the best paintballs out there. Evil (I forget the name of their top brand) is pretty much the same thing. I'm all for having good paint. Look at it this way....the lower quality your paintballs are the less accurate it will be and the more you will have to shoot to eliminate someone. So in the long run taking care of your paint saves you money and gives you a decided edge in your game.
But on the other hand I don't flip my paint every other day or anything like that. I usually flip it about once a week. Usually when I'm going to go play or when I get home; that's if I have any paint left
Just keep your paint in a cool, dry place and flip it every once in awhile. I've had paint that was a year old (a mixture of Blaze and PMI Premiums) and had zero breaks and it shot surprizingly well.
And if you're using oily paint and you didn't wipe off the access oil take the time every few games and run a squeegee through your barrel to get that gunk out of there. You will notice an improvement in accuracy.

Paintballs are usually manufactured using some type of fish or vegatable oil. The excess oil that you see in the bag is just oil that has settled off of the shells onto the plastic. It's not a big deal and doesn't usually effect performance as long as there isn't a ton of oil on the paint. Just clean out your barrel every few games if you are using really oily paint.

i got some paintballs that are RPS super swirl... are they any good? I don't play tournament i only play woodsball so i don't exactly need professional paint.

I also bougth some paint as "seconds" supposedly the only thing different is some of the colors can be mixed. Does anyone else have any expirience buying paint as seconds... it seems pretty good to me, just liek anything else you'd get at a store but i haven't been able to shoot them yet.

i bought a half case at my local shop and seperated it into 100ct ziploc bags. I noticed today that a bag i had been testing with had paint inside the bag.

it happened between where i was shooting and getting home, so the paintballs hadn't been marinating or anything, but i emptied the bag, wiped them all off and set aside a few balls that were leaking. I put the others in a new bag and have them sitting on the counter right now.

Are they still usable or should i discard the paint? I don't know what kind of paint it is, but i know it's more than likely an RPS brand. there is a "OF" stamped on the balls, anyone know what they are?

i disagree - while i think the fills in anarchy paint are absolutely awesome, the shells dimple way too easily, are excessively oily, and overall just don't seem to be very uniform. every time i've short anarchy i've found it to be rather innacurate.

good ol PMI premiums always treat me well.

Do you guys really think that paint over 2 weeks old might be suspect.. Comon.. Paint sits in the warehouse much longer before ever seeing your special storage place. And no one there is flipping it every day either.. I'd be curious to see how long paint really will last right from the factory.. I'm suspecting 3-6 mos would be normal for most paints shelf life.
