Teardrop or Progressive?

I've been playing paintball about every month for about 1 year and am looking for a new barrel. the smart parts teardrop and progressive barrels interest me but which is better? Is there a difference? I have a stock E99 if that helps.

the only dif. is taht the teardrop is 10 bux more cuz it has cooler porting, id get it, its on ly 10 bux dif. if you want to save it the progressive is all teh same

also, do proggresive barrels work well with spyders and the older models?
