Do you mean 689 paint ina 692 barrel? Or 692 paint in a 689 barrel?
If you mean 689 paint and a 692 barrel, then yes, it will work, but you won't be very accurate, especially with BE paint.
If you mean 692 paint in a 689 barrel, then you are liable to have a lot of barrel breaks because your barrel is too small for the paint.
Solution: don't buy the Afterburner crap from Wal-mart. It ends up being more expensive per 2000 than stuff like Bigball. Even Blue Streak is 40 bucks per 2000, and you can get Big Ball for 42.00 per 2000, and it's very good paint.
