Need help matching paint to barrel

I was just wondering how you tell if the paint to barrel match is correct.

Should the ball fit in the barrel with no excess room around the edges or whaT???

The ball should have 2 contact points on the barrel paralel(sp) to each other(paint to barrel), with excess room around the rest. Now you wont always get exactly 2 contact points, becuase paint is not perfectly round, 3 contact points is fine. Make sure your not forceing the paint into the barrel, becuase that = bad.

Paint and Barrel bore sizes: Read First << Also very helpful.

When you put the ball into the barrel, it should not roll out of the barrel, but then if you blow fairly gently it should come out.
