Flat Line Question
Is The Flatline Really Worth The money. i just want to know if it really goes farther than any other barrel.I know it does that rotation thing but does it make the paintball go to a farther distance?

For the same distance but much better versatility and quality, get yourself a barrel kit. for the same price.

Evil Pipe, Freak, look in the barrel forum. Accuraccy and distance comes form a paint to barrel match. Magnus might help a bit, but certainly not enough.

ok if youre gonna play woodsball get the flatline
If your gonna play speedball get a barrel kit
The flatline is too big for speedball, you can do it but it makes playing tight really tuff. And bore paint match has nothing to do with distance but it does make all the difference when it comes to accuracy. The big bonus with a kit is the fact that whatever paint you are forced to use (fields that make you use field paint) you will have a sleeve for that size giving you the perfect bore paint match. For woodsball you can just buy whatever size you need for the match to the flatline and presto you have a perfect paint bore match. As long as you read the first 2 lines of this post though youre good.

For full price, i would say stay away from the flatline unless you got money to blow. Its not worth it on a low buget. thats why i got mine used for $50 :-D

Put a marble in your barrel and try to blowgun it out. Put a paintball in it and try to blowgun it out. The marble will just barely roll out. The paintball will go out.

READ MY SIG. I don't liek flatlines. Yet when someone has on in woods i stick to them cause distance and i ahev accuracy. But i found that the flatline slows the ball down, it doesn't always break at longer distances, tippy says it does, and it curves to one side or the other. Yeah a evil kit is more worth it. They you can match your paint to your barrle.

the flatline wont slow balls down, and i have had no trouble with breaks at a far distance(asfar as one can realistically aim with a paintballgun)
it only seems like its going slow because it goes in a strait line,so your eyes can follow it
i have yet to see anyone bust out matrix moves when i shot at them

I SAID A5!!!!! Yoiu can't take the hopper out. You have to get like a jerk through and push it though shoot it and repeat. I personly think a barrel kit is worth more but thats your guys' choices, i no i hate them and will never buy or have on on my gun.

most won't bend that much. Whatever i just hate it. I liek to be able to pull my squeege out stickin in the barrle. i turn it when i pull out. It takes a few seconds. Everyone that has one on a a5 says it is hard as hell, but then again the only time you pop in a5 is with bad paint. So yeah. I just don't like em.

Flatlines are just hype?
Since you can just buy the right paint for your barrel wouldnt that make barrel kits just hype? Flatlines serve a purpose, the give you a flat trajectory for the effective range of the paintball gun. If thats not what you are looking for then get something else. If you want a barrel that will work with ANY bore paint get a kit, if thats not what youre looking for then dont get a kit.
My point: the flatline is not just hype.
