Better Barrel?

I own a Spyder Xtra gun, and I am looking to get a new barrel to increase accuracy, and a little bit of sound, and distance. So far I have narrowed it down to two barrels, 32* Whisper, and Smart Parts 14" Teardrop. I have read reviews on them, and most say that both are a 10 out of 10. I am looking to see which barrel you guys would recommend for better accuracy, some increased distance, and maybe a little less sound. Thanks

A new barrel wont increase distance. It will increase accuracy and possibly make it quieter. The barrels I would recommend are CP 1 piece or a J&J ceramic. If you want your spyder to be quieter you'll have to make it lower pressure.

I don't really mind about it being quieter. I have heard alot of people talk about J&J ceramics. Which would be be better out of the two you suggested? I guess I am just looking for accuracy. My local fields are woodball and speedball, and I would like to have a barrel that would give me the best of both world. Our woodball courses are kind of spread out, so accuracy from a distance would be nice to have, but the speedball courses are kind of tight, and require some semi-fast shooting, so I would like a barrel that can give me some nice accuracy from up close, and far away, but will also not chop balls on me if fired semi-fast during some speedball. Thanks for the help.

Just go with a 12, 14, or 16" J&J Ceramic. Its cheap, around $40, and is the best barrel for the cost.

yeah, go with a 12" or a 14" I have the J&J 14" and the teardrop 12", they both perform about the same except the J&J gets a tiny bit smaller groupeings(I'm guessing thats because of the legnth) and the J&J is quiter. if you are shooting speedball and woodsball (I have played both as well) you would want both the 12" and 14" and I would go with the J&J simply because it's cheaper(the only reason I have the teardrop is cause it came with my gun) you can get the J&J on ebay for $45 or so. And one more thing you can not chop balls with your barrel, no matter what barrel you have(I dont care if it's a rusty pipe) you cant chop balls with your barrel. Chopping comes from shooting faster then the balls can drop into the chamber from the hopper. So if your conserned about chopping get a motorized hopper.
