someone also told you that a lamborgini is slow? Could happen but shouldn't. I have never seen a freak bend......the inserts, if not ss, can get messed so u can't use em. But like they are 12 bucks depending if u no where to look, if i had a freak i would keep about 2 89 and 2 91's.
I have used freaks, if they were like 100 i would buy it, but presonaly i think they aren't great. Now if you have a good gun w/ good break beam eyes, go ahead and buy it. But when u chop a single ball thats your game, you actaully have to take the whole kit apart and clean, and it still doesn't work right....
Its your choice, for the price get a empire 7 or 11, not the ten really, and that is a nice kit. w/ the 11 u get liek 5 fronts, so if you go front player go with a 10, and a hard core back, go w/ 14-16. Its a great kit, i will be sporting one on my new storm!!!! Coming next week.

The actuall freak barrel is heavy, the kit inserts are fine but the barrel itself is heavy.I would rather have a stiffi kit though.

stiffis are kool, but also when u pop they are a ***** in my opinion. I like barrels that are easy, self clean. I don't have time to sit and clean my barrel, unless i want a facefull of paint.
Personaly i think the empire kits are kool, i think i said that above. They look very kool, if black ain't your color get it anno'd, can be cheap for barrels.
The stiffis, cps, evils, are all good, but have a few probs. Evil back and front leave a gap. Cps are cheap. stiffis are pretty$$ and have a lil more stouble cleaning. The matchstik and empire don't have problems that i know of, well now they don't.
Buts its all what u like, some people love freaks, but most players try to sell em, 100 bucks.......get a used and see if u like it, usually u neevr lose money on something used.

no ****, read my other post, UNLESS U HAVE A GOOD GUN WITH EYES, BREAK BEAM, AND U CHOP YOUR SCREWED. This really the case with every barrel, unless u do a trick to it, which i do, called rainx........less accurate but clears, its a gamble.

yeah I love my freak- I never chop in it. Plus the fact that my marker never chops helps too... idk- I love the freak. You won't really see that big a difference in barrels as long as you're working under similar conditions.

thats not true. A tippmann barrel doesn't match up to a macthstik or something. Some are better than others.

anybody here heard of or tried the posion arrow system? jaggy has one. if i could afford it i would buy one. its barrel system that uses surgical grade stainless. it also has a section on the barrel that you can slide foward to expose these large slots. when you break a ball, you slide it foward and the squegee action of the ball actually clears the paint out of those slots getting the barrel clean in like 5 shots. check it out. google it.
EDIT: it is made of 6061 ali. and stanless steel. and is honed to get this a 3 mincron finish. a boomie is 6 micron.
