Technically, you could get a tippmann to spyder thread adapter, but I don't think It would work with the flatline. Flatlines are secured with a long part to the top of the gun (with 98c) and the top of a spyder would be blocked by a feedneck, and sight rail. I'm not sure about A5 flatline.

You can mount a 98 flatline without the plastic grip. The barrel is held in by its Flatline adapter.

You could get a spyder to tippmann 98 adapter, then the flatline adapter that comes with the Flatline would screw into that and tighten down on the barrel. An a-5 would have different threads so I can't speak of that.

Overall this doesn't seem like a good idea.

For the price of a flatline you could get a Dye Ultralite. You should not spend that much on a spyder anyways
