Can someone give me the basics on the Freak system? How do the inserts and tips and stuff work...can I mix and match an all-american barrel with a freak insert? Need info!

this should go in the barrel forum thingy...but the freak has inserts, u can buy them in both aluminum or stainless steel. They are pretty quite but when u break a ball it doesnt clean itself out very well. Some people complain about inserts not being perfectly centered but that is usually due to the o-rings. Another complaint is the aluminum inserts bending.

The inserts go into the back portion of the barrel and slide in...The great thing about the barrel is that if u have another gun with different threads, all u have to do is buy a new back. Other kits like the pipe u have to get alot of backs since they dont have inserts.

Also the inserts come in different bore sizes for better paint to barrel match which is really helpful so you can just change the inserts if your paint doesnt match. And for an All American Barrel you don't need inserts. All American barrel ahve a bore size of .689 for some guns.

Yeah it's an All American Freak set with silver tip. I am looking to get no less than 160 plus shipping. It is brand new never used. I have it on ebay as well so if you wish to bid you can find it there.
