On the backs, one has an o-ring, while the other 4 don't. What is the meaning of this?

to confuse you. Hell i dunno maybe the other 4 got lost. on my pipe it only came with 3 orings (I'm looking at you barber). If you're gonna change backs you can just change orings too.

thats empire for you... the orings are a requirement but they do help air efficiency a small amount. If it bothers you, just change the oring when you change backs, otherwise it wont make that big of a difference.
