Just wondering, has anyone here tried out or owns the MacDev matchstik barrel kit. Wondered how it compared to the other kits? How is accuracy, weight, noise, ability to clean out a break, ect. The 7-pc kit looks like it would be a good deal at $140, the sizes should cover most paints, and it doesn't use inserts. just wondering, since I don't know anyone around here who has one or ever used one.

I have the 7-pc matchstick and I love it. I has to be the best kit I have used. It's light , quiet (If that is important to you), and it cleans after breaks real well. I just wish they made more the just cocker threads, cause I'd love to get one for my angel when I get it.

I would definitely get it probably one of the best kits out and it definitely has the best price.

I just got it today. Wow it is a great kit especially considering the low price tag. I even took my micrometer to the backs (yes I guess thats a little anal) and they were right on with the sizes. Shooting it accuracy was great, all shots were staying within a 6" circle (well one brand, Draxxus Dusk was getting 5 shot groups, right around 3"), these were fired from 25' away and was fairly quiet. I even put in a cracked pb to test its cleaning ability, within about 5 shots the balls were back to original accuracy and by the 11th shot the bore was 99.9% clean. I really like the fact that there are no inserts to deal with, simply swap the back to get desired size, plus the 7pc kit gives you the three different tip lengths, so you can pick which one you would like.

So far I just tried it out in the backyard but am going to take it to the field to play (first time since fracturing my ankle 4 weeks ago) tonight and see how it does.
