Tippmann Flatline vs. Tippmann (GTA) 12" Sniping Barrel

Hey I am looking for distance and accuracy and I have narrowed it down to these two for my A-5. Please speak your thoughts.

about the only tippmann barrels that are worth much are the flatlines, the regular barrels from them are really just a joke. a J&J, ultralite, AA, or anyother name brand barrel is better. for distance and accuracy w/ a tippy get the flatline.

the flatline doesnt really increase your effective range. The seam in most paintballs messes with the spin so past regular distances it wont always hit the same spot. also, when you do hit something at that distance, it will most likely not break. Tippmann's barrels arent really worth it (cept the flatline for the woodsballers out there). Go with a nice teardrop or J&J

If your looking for accuracy the flatline will really disappoint you... if you are looking to spend that much on a barrel, look into the J&J Edge Kit, Macdev Matchstik Kit, or the DYE Ultralight

Thumbs up

Do NOT get the Flatline. All the crap they talk about in terms of "flatter trajectory" and "longest shot, guaranteed" is certifiable crap.

Instead of wasting your money on a Flatline, get something like a J&J, Dye Ultralite or the Smart Parts All-American barrels.
