Best self cleaning barrel
I need one. My freak doesn't cut it.
I don't have time to to clean it out in the middle of a game when I'm playing back.
Thanks

Unfortunately, I am facing the same situation.
Though, now I am finding that the Evil Pipe or Ultralite cleans itself decently, or at least better than a freak, after ball breaks.

I don't like Pipes all that well.
Pretty much it's down to CP 2 piece, stiffi, or UL, depending on what shoots clean better.

Out of those 3, go with the Stiffi. The Stiffi is a remarkable self-cleaning barrel. A squegee is almost uneeded.

What about the Poision Arrow Barrel system, isn't that designed to be self-cleaning?

I heard at first it wasn't legal since the cleaning sleeve could be slid, but testing showed it didn't change the velocity so it is legal. Forgot where I read it though.
But yeah it is pricey.

no, its 289. Lets see, your pipe doesnt cut it for me. Macdev matchstiks are supposed to be nice, same with stiffis and CCM kits.

I've got a CCM/Stiffi and while I can shoot through breaks accuracy suffers alot past say 50 feet until you clean it, so I really don't think you can play back with that... J&J's work really well through breaks. Poison Arrow supposidly is the best and according to them it *is* tournament legal to use them.

poison arrow. designed to literially be self cleaning. kit comes with 3 backs that are honed to 3 microns( a boomstick is 6 microns). these things are killer(looks wise and for your wallet). since the backs are honed to such a smooth finish you can use a smaller back for a paint than what you would for say a freak. the idea is that you get a tighter ball fit which actually squeege's the barrel after you break a ball. if you are going to say something about "what a tighter ball fit?? thats bs, you'll get more breaks and it'll be ineffiecent...", hush. these things are honed to a finish that is smoother than glass which acts to negate the effects of the tighter ball fit. jaggy13 has one of these kits(that is soon to be mine) and it is killer. the fronts on these barrels have a section that slides foward to expose slots that are used to get the squeege'd paint out of the barrel. these things get the barrel clean in basicly 5 shots or less.
like to see a freak do that.

I have a Freak with an AA front. It doesn't self clean.
Stop saying Poison Arrow, I know it's the best, but its 200 more than I want to spend.
