I know the Tippy is already longer but i heard after 12 inches it doesnt do anything different. Most people get the 14 though, any reason? Thanks guys. Merry Christmas
The 14" has extra length for porting, so it should be quieter. It won't have any advantage in accuracy or range over a 12".
As for why people get the longer one, either they can't let go of the idea that longer barrels are more accurate, or they just like the way it looks? Everyone will answer that different cause there's a lot of possible reasons.
mostly up to u....unlike real guns barrel length does not nesisarily dictate how accurate it is.
it is paint to barrel match...how well the paint matches up to the barrel.
the 12 or 14 tho is up to u...i have seen people play with 14 and i personally dont have a problem with 14....its any longer that i dont like. Such as 16...i feel that is toooo long.
its mainly up to you....do you want the extra 2 inches? do you need it? if your a tight player that likes to get up close and personal i woudl suggest taking a smaller barrel...however if your into woodball or airball the logner barrel may help you push brush or the airball bunkers around.
