Dye Ultralite or Custom products two piece?
I want to know what barrel is better for a front/mid player, I need a barrel that would be reliable and not break easily, I play quite often. I have a Spyder Pilot and I fire CO2. If you suggest one of the barrels, please tell why, I get sick of people just telling me to buy a barrel but leave no reason. Also, feel free to suggest any other barrels you think would be better. I heard things about how it is best to get the .685 bore for the CP two piece because it creates pressure on the ball before it gets to the large front, is this true? One more thing, on a certain website is says the length of the tips I'm assuming, but I'm not sure if that's the length of ust the front or the total length.

its total lenght. Um crap, both are nice barrels. Try to find something w/ a close bore to what ur paint is. AND NO using a .685 can cause chops b/c the paint is possibley too large.

Okay, I think Im gonna go for the CP two piece. I just like the reviews I've heard on it more than the Ultralite. Hrer's what I plan on buying
Custom Products 2 Piece Barrel Back .689 Black
Custom Products 2 Piece Barrel Front 14 in. Black
Tel me if I'm doing anything wrong here, and are you sure it's total length? Also, am I goin to sacrifice anything by getting the 14" instead of the 12"?

I don't understand what you mean, I've always thought that .689 is in the middle of small and big but for the CP two pice they only have .682, .685, .689, .693, and .696. I'm getting the .689 because that is what my previous barrel was and the paint I shoot fits it.

yeah, you should be able to shoot most paint with the standard bore sizes(generally considered around 690). I would suggest the UL since its got more porting and i like the design better but they are both great barrels.

CP is the best barrel I've used. Ultralites are exactly what they are, ultra light. They're both great barrels, no real comparison except for price and looks.

No not really
I'd get a .696 bore with a 16 inch tip. If you want you could get a .693 bore instead. Both will work great.

You might get some barrel bounce with a bore that large. 689 or 693 are perfect, but I have both
