Halo B and Detents.......

I plan on getting a Halo B for a Dragon Timmy and Ive seen that harder detents are needed for the Halo B. Would it be worth the extra $$$ for the built in rip drive? I found a detent set at critical paintball.com.......

"Critical Paintball is now offering a ball detent kit with three different detent harness levels so that you can fine-tune your setup. Are you using a Halo or Reloader B? You may want to use the stiffest detents. Are you using very brittle paint? You may want to use the softest detents. What are the weather conditions like? What is the size of your paint? The variables are nearly endless. That is why we offer this ball detent kit, so that you can set your marker up perfectly.
The kit comes with 3 sets (6 detents) with 3 different hardness levels."

Any good/any others???........

The rip drive is worth the money, since if the electronics go out you still can shoot your gun. Although by the time you add Rip Drive you are closer to the prices of the ReloaderB and may want to consider that instead.

Detents are good although I just leave the PBK hard detents in both guns and they seem to be doing just fine. With stock I did have the ReloaderB trying to force the balls passed the stock detents. I think they are $2.50 each, as well.

i too have the PBK extra hard detents, and those worked great except with real brittle paint, i actually had the detents breaking paint, so i got the medium ones and they work great with all paint.

My Normal paint now is Draxxus Hellfire (and its defintely a softer paint) and the detents are not breaking the shells.
