I just got an Intimidator Classic

One of my acquaintances tells me that the stock ram or bolt is set too far back and will chop like mad. Is there any truth to that statement?

its possible, the bolt should stick out about a fingernails width into the breech. The fastest, and best solution to this is an bumperless, adjustable ram cap. This allows you to adjust the bolt and ram positioning, and stop the chopping, and it also means you dont need to use a ram bumper anymore (the little rubber thing at the end). I would recommend the hybrid ram cap.

edit- congrats on the new gun
