Why Timmys?
Alright - I know timmys are great guns and everything - they can rip and are pretty light...But... I just wanna make a thread:
Why did you choose your timmy? Why not some other gun?
-pv
Ps- I can get a Empire Timmy for 825 off a sponsor... I just bought a new 05 angel speed so im very low on money, but its just something to look for if I decide on getting a timmy eventually.

easy to work on. Very fast when set up well. light.
ps- I don't really care what kind of gun I shoot now. They all have eyes, electronic boards, and are fast. I just want something that I know will work when it comes time to play. and my timmy does it for me

timmies are easy to maintain, most are light, theyre all pretty damn sexy, great resale value, tons of aftermarket parts, good customer service and support. the list keeps going. i would recommend selling the speed and getting the empire. angels dont seem to keep their value too long..

I dont really care about after sale value tho... I love my angel - its increadble. And you gotta love the no fricting - laser break beam trigger. It rips like no other. I have a 02 fly and a 02 cocker both are maxed out with upgrades... I shuld probably sell those and go for the empire timmy... Maybe... I still gotta pay off some debt tho... Anyways...
What do you do to maintain timmys?

Oooh. Alright. Low maitenence is always good... Thats another reason I like angels... All you have to do is put a few drops of oil in the ASA every 4 cases, dry fire 10-20 times, wipe the bolt dry and your ready to go... That and grease every 10 cases...

I got my Alias primarily because of feel.
DM- Had one and to me its far too bulky although shot great
Shocker- My hands are too big for the trigger gaurd to be comfortabke, plus its reliability
Cyborg- Seriously considered but lack of availible parts locally if I needed something right away, plus again its kinda bulky.
Freestyle- flat out hated it.
E-Cocker- Not a big cocker fan to begin with (although have one now and it shoots good but I rarely actually use it)
E-Mag- Heavy and not as good as most newer markers, IMO.
Angels- Just don't like the feel of them much, they just don't fit me well

Well its not really good to dry fire especially alot/fast but if your just doing it a few times to oil it every once in a while its alright. Yea, the noid takes more of a hit and wear then if there was a ball in it, but its alright if you dont do it alot.
