New Timmy, need board advice

well basicly what the title says, heres the rundown:

my uncle is big into paintball he knos bob long and he used to play professionally so i think he knos a thing or 2 heh, but he told me if i wanted to be taken seriously / play for real i needed a gun aside from my response tipman, so i got a brand new 03 species with the lcd screen and i love it outa the box. but i think its capable of doing so much more. as it stands i shoot 13bps and i think it can do better. from what i kno of my gun its:

some WAS board.
Dwell - 12.0
Eye mode - Delay
BIP - 0.5mS
Bolt Delay - 15mS
Debounce - 5.0
Mbounce - 02

so im open to all suggestions, because i love this gun n i think ill love it more with some changes? thanks guys

------------------------------------------------------------------
after doing some reading i changed up some settings:
Dwell - 06.0
Eye mode - Forced
BIP - 0.5mS
Bolt Delay - 05mS
Debounce - 05.0
M bounce - 02

Lower your debounce to around 4 or 5, you'll notice a decent difference.

get your BIP as low as it can go WITHOUT chopping paint. yes, that means you can't just change it and expect it to shoot well without trying it out first. your dwell shouldn't be at 12, as far as im concered. the standard/average dwell for a timmy is 8. but up to 10 is still "acceptable".

if you want to straight up rip, turn your mbounce to 00, and your debounce to as low as it will go.

also if your having issues with dry firing, raise your bolt delay one adjustment at a time. again only do this if your having issues with dry firing.

sounds like your main concern is that you can only shoot 13 bps. adjust your trigger to your likings, and no, the shortest pull doesn't mean the fastest shooting. some people perfer much longer pulls, and can achive higher speeds with a longer pull. if you hate your trigger, buy a new one. oh, and what kind of hopper do you have? obviously you can't shoot faster than your hopper will load.

you raise many good points, i figured out the hopper thing, i have a halo B w/ rip drive, i had it set to around 24 bps but i upped it to 48 bps i think, so i got up to 16 bps it was nice but not nice enouf. ill go home and test it later tonight, keep the advice comming if youd like i love reading it. thank you for your time.

Your bolt delay is also to high. Unless you don't have a force feed hopper turn it off. If you don't lower it to like 5.

1.) your halo B does not feed 48.
2.) turning your halo off is a terrible idea. How are you going to shoot?
3. Get a Virtue or Tadao board and set it on ramping. you can shoot 6bps and the board will make your gun shoot at however high you set it
