so my protege has just come in the mail today and i havnt gotten to use it
i was wondering if it really will get a case form a 68/4500
if not how many will i get approxomitly
and will sleek lube be ok for the bolt?

Once broken in, it will get CLOSE to a case. Maybe not quite a case, but definitely close.

Sl33k is fine for the bolt.

You don't lube the bolt on any Intimidator with anything other than TRI-FLOW, this goes for the new Gen5s Protege/Vice as well. One drop of Tri-Flow on each o-ring of the bolt and you'll be good. Sl33k is fine to use on the ram, poppet, and other o-rings on the marker EXCEPT the bolt

I know lots of people that use sl33k on the bolt. Yes, it voids the warranty, but it's thin enough that it's ok for use.

Sleek will work yes,but will also cause the o-rings to swell and you will have bigtime bolt problems.As Crankwalk said use tri-flow.I get 12 pods,(140rd) and a hopper from both my Vices off DXS 68/45 fill.

sl33k doesn't cause oring swell...whoever told you that is wrong. Dow55 causes swell, Dow33 does NOT...that's the reason most manufacturers recommend Dow33 for EVERYTHING.

Also, hence the 33 in SL33K, it's dow33

I'd personally look into something liek TechT GunSav or HaterSauce. I find that over time SL33k starts to thin out and get runny. Both the TechT lune and HaterSauce are supposed to remidy that problem.
